Expansion of an Existing Pond Wastewater Treatment System<\/h2>\n

In the municipality of Stein-Neukirch, the existing pond wastewater treatment system was expanded with a fixed-bed module to ensure stable nitrification performance throughout seasonal and operational variations.
The FBR-container unit served as a temporary solution while the existing ponds were drained \u2014 taking over full treatment operations. Within just two weeks of operation, ammonium (NH\u2084-N) concentrations were reliably under 1 mg\/l. Throughout the transitional phase, the effluent quality consistently met the required discharge standards. Installation of the complete system, including the pump shaft, took only one and a half days. <\/p>\n

This modular expansion was engineered to achieve effluent quality discharge class \u201cN\u201d for a design load of 450 PE. It enables a quick, efficient upgrade of existing infrastructure and is ideal for modernizing municipal pond treatment systems.
The solution is based on advanced fixed-bed reactor technology and is supplied in a containerized plug-and-play format, allowing seamless integration into existing wastewater systems with minimal installation effort. <\/p>\n
