Dissolved air flotation for industrial wastewater
The dissolved air flotation is a system for the treatment of special industrial wastewater in order to remove suspended solids or light liquids such as oils and greases from the water by means of the gas bubbles that are produced during the process. utp’s highly efficient flotation system is used when conventional separators reach their limits.
The flotation system can be used as:
- wastewater pre-treatment (e.g. for indirect dischargers)
- individual purification stage of a wastewater treatment plant (e.g. direct dischargers, water reuse)
- sludge separation stage after a physical-chemical treatment
- wastewater treatment after mechanical pre-treatment
