Precipitation
Precipitation is a process in which a dissolved substance is converted, in whole or in part, into an insoluble precipitate in the form of crystals, floccules or droplets. For this purpose, a special precipitant is fed into the treatment plant via a dosing pump. Thanks to our modular system, a precipitation module can even be retrofitted years later.
UV Module for Hygienisation
For disinfection or germ removal, our Type-H module is used. The biologically treated wastewater passes through an additional UV reactor housing and is irradiated. Using highly effective UVC radiation microorganisms are reliably killed. Our Type-H module is characterised by its compact and space-saving design. Without chemicals and with extremely low maintenance, we achieve bathing-water quality.
On-Site Control Stations
To make the plant more user-friendly, there is the option of installing on-site control stations. From these, the plant can even be operated outside the plant building with just a few button presses.
Flow Rate Measurement (MID)
Often, regulatory requirements call for flow measurement together with a discharge throttling device. We are happy to integrate a flow meter (MID – Magnetic Inductive Flow Meter) into the treatment process. Here, the treated clear water passes through a meter that displays the discharged water volume. With our klärcontrol control unit there is also the option of daily remote transmission of all recorded water volumes.
Mechanical Pre-Treatment / Coarse Material Removal
For larger treatment plants it makes sense to use mechanical pre-treatment. We are happy to supply and install a screw screen, which removes coarse components from the inflowing wastewater. The screening residue is enclosed and delivered directly into waste bins without environmental contact.
Flotation Unit
For the separation of fats, light liquids, emulsions and suspended solids. The efficiency is many times higher than that of a classical grease trap.
Filtration
Filtering the wastewater flow can make sense as pre-treatment for process water or as post-treatment of pre-treated wastewater. For cost-effective and efficient post-treatment the SBF filter can be used.
pH Regulation
In commercial and industrial operations, wastewater with widely fluctuating pH values arises during production. For effective wastewater treatment, pH is fully automatically regulated. Only then is biological treatment using the SBR method possible.
Adsorption
Certain components of industrial wastewater must not be released into the environment or into municipal treatment plants. Through adsorption onto materials such as activated carbon, these substances can be removed from the wastewater stream.
klärcontrol Control System
All kläropro plants are equipped with our user-friendly klärcontrol control technology as standard.
The control unit includes a hydrocontrol module for continuous, hydrostatic, maintenance-free air measurement in the control cabinet. This automatically optimises blower run times according to fluctuating wastewater loads; this increases energy efficiency and optimises treatment performance.
Function monitoring with alarm is not only visual and acoustic but also via our telemetry module for remote monitoring, which significantly enhances operational safety. To enable multi-reactor operation, the control systems communicate with each other. This ensures uniform organic and hydraulic loading for each reactor.
PLC Control Unit with Touch Panel
All kläropro plants are also available with a Siemens S7 PLC system. The PLC unit allows integration into an existing control system via mobile or fixed-line connection for remote supervision and control. Level measurement in the respective tanks is done via level sensors. The user-friendly operation is enabled by graphical representation of the plant layout in the touch panel. Of course many other additional functions such as oxygen measurement, trend displays etc. are also possible.
Control Cabinets
We manufacture control cabinets for both indoor and outdoor use. We always take into account technical, structural requirements and customer wishes.
Depending on what you need, we supply various indoor cabinets for wall mounting or free-standing setups in a plant building. For free-standing units, we offer cabinets in materials such as concrete, aluminium or GRP (glass-reinforced plastic). Naturally, we also try to meet special requests, such as wood cladding.
Operation Buildings
Traditional masonry
For large projects, we can, if requested, also take care of the erection of a new plant building. Whether in wood or traditionally masonry – we build it according to your wishes.
Prefabricated Technical Cell
If no plant building exists yet, we also deliver fully connected prefabricated concrete technical cells. These are factory-equipped not only with the tested treatment plant technical equipment, but already include many components such as a screw screen, sanitary and resting rooms or even a full wastewater laboratory.
Technical Container
Technical containers are also no problem for us. These are delivered ready to connect and tested on site.

The existing situation: Requirements for the plant
First, it must be determined what volumes and loads will enter the plant, and what effluent quality must be achieved.
We are happy to help you going through the documentation.
Then the future site of the plant must be fixed, and the local conditions determined (pipeline layout, terrain, etc.). After establishing the current situation, we move to the next step.
Develop concepts
Now we ask, “which structure for the wastewater treatment plant is best for the given circumstances?”. After we determined the existing situation, we start with the drawing board in order to create concepts.
With new constructions, we develop different proposals and versions. Which type of tank should you opt for? How to arrange the tanks on site?
If there are already existing tanks on site, we will try and integrate them into the new concept of the plant. Mostly it is possible to integrate the tanks completely or just add new ones. A renovation or integration often is the most cost-effective solution. After all, the existing tanks are very often still in a good condition.
As kläropro wastewater treatment plants are used with very specific wastewaters, we also examine the site where the wastewater accrues. Depending on the location, we record the operating procedures, make tests and analyses in the laboratory or install test wastewater treatment plants on site.

Planning phase of the wastewater treatment plant
We also create all for the construction of the wastewater treatment plant necessary drawings and plans, carry out construction consultations, prepare tender specifications and gladly make construction timetables for you.
At the same time, we schedule the plant for production. On principle we produce everything ourselves. From the treatment tanks to the SBR kit and the control unit. The advantage for you is that short-term changes or special wishes pose no problem for us.
Delivery and installing of the wastewater treatment plant
In addition, a ready-to-use delivery does not pose a problem for us. Our team can also realise the overall performance with earthworks or for example the renovation of existing tanks.
After the commissioning, the test phase and technical acceptance of the wastewater treatment plant we also stand at your side and are at your disposal as competent partner.
